Old Tesatament Survey Part 1: Genesis

This course explores the first 17 books of the Old Testament, including the Pentateuch and historical books, which trace the journey of God’s chosen people, Israel. By studying these foundational scriptures, students will gain a deeper understanding of the Old Testament’s connection to the entire biblical narrative, culminating in the person and work of Jesus Christ (John 5:39). Students will: • Examine key historical events and their significance. • Understand how God revealed Himself before Christ’s coming. • Trace Messianic promises across generations. • Explore the historical background for poetic and prophetic writings. • Identify enduring principles of God’s relationship with mankind. • Discover biblical truths through personal study. • Apply lessons to faith, ministry, and daily life. This course equips students with the knowledge and tools needed to engage with God’s Word, strengthening their faith and biblical understanding.
